Get your hard hat ready. We’re not just renovating the travel experience – we’re renovating our physical spaces too. And our Corporate Real Estate team is on the front lines of procuring, designing and developing spaces at all our hubs, stations and city locations across the world. From airport affairs and business services to planning and development, this team is responsible for all our leases and major construction and renovation projects, system wide.

Key Responsibilities:

The Manager – CRE Business Services role will lead and support the team in the development of project portfolios, labor resources and analysis associated with airport budget and lease negotiations. This work includes financial forecasting of facilities projects, departmental operating expense, project resource management, and aid analysis for airport lease negotiations and space requests, as well as owning the frameworks and processes for project approvals.

+ Develop capital project, operating expense forecast projections, and develop resource plans

+ Identify data from requestor and facilitate feedback on forecast changes

+ Collect data to continually improve capital and operating expense forecast and assist with long term plan development

+ Develop resource plan to review ideas and evolve intake process with directors and managing directors

+ Identify and collect additional information needed and coordinate assignment of rough order magnitude cost and schedule

+ Lead all aspects of all ideas/projects within specific portfolio through to cancellation or project assignment

+ Assist in the improvement of a strategy and process to ensure that all projects are completed on time, on budget, in compliance with the following: airport operational need, corporate guidelines, airport lease requirements and accounting standards to which the airline is bound

+ Be responsible for developing analysis in support of Airport and other lease negotiations, historical cost analysis, industry analysis, capital project budget analysis, space optimization, Ad hoc analysis, etc.

+ Support MDs and VPs in creation of highly visible leadership and town hall presentations

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Finance/ Engineering/ Construction Management

+ 4+ years of experience working with Corporate Finance, design and construction project lifecycle, capital planning, corporate forecasting, accounting standards, facility asset lifecycle, and related inputs

+ Corporate Finance, Strategy, Accounting, comfort with building cases for large capital projects while balancing interest of collaborators

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

+ At least 2 years of strong analytical & quantitative work in Finance, or other strategic groups

+ Skills in financial analysis with construction project and portfolio management, resource labor planning and management, and communication to executive leadership
