Job Description
Inventory Control Coordinator - $17.50/Hr.
This position is temporary with an opportunity to be hired full-time.
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Inventory Control Coordinator for our Distribution client to start at $17.50/hr. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities:
Inventory management, purchasing, and shipping/receiving
- Prepare purchase requisition with input and oversight from management
- Track open purchase orders and due dates
- Develop familiarity with our products and part numbers
- Receive shipments and check them for accuracy
- Inspect incoming product for defects
- Modify, combine, and/or separate received product into final product
- Stock products in the warehouse in assigned locations
- Manage warehouse layout for best productivity
- Interface with sales department to provide stock and ship date information
- Interface with shipping/receiving department to communicate part bin locations and coordinate incoming shipments
- Interface with suppliers to resolve product and shipping defects and coordinate shipments
Overtime mandatory when required including Saturdays
Location: Lockport, IL
Schedule/Shift Details
- 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Mon-Fri
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ experience with inventory management, purchasing, or shipping/receiving, or other relevant experience
- Aptitude with computers and office software, ability and willingness to learn our in-house software suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bending, sitting, squatting, climbing, standing
- Position includes both front-office and warehouse tasks
