Broadcasting Engineer- WEIU Radio-TV Program
Eastern Illinois University is seeking qualified candidate for the position of Broadcasting Engineer for the WEIU Radio-TV Program. This position will Perform technical tasks such as installing, operating, and maintaining broadcasting equipment for TV and radio.
Successful candidates should have knowledge of/ experience with:
- Remote broadcast operations,
- Familiarity with Ross video switchers and control software products,
- Experience with a Newsroom environment,
- Equipment tagging, and live event coverage.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders.
- Experience maintaining computers and basic Ethernet networking.
- Knowledge of audio & video electronics.
- Ability to work with hand tools and test equipment.
