The Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall beverage program at Cindy’s Rooftop, a high-volume destination restaurant and lounge. Additionally, this position will assist the overall management team with daily shift leadership and oversight of lunch, dinner and late-night services as applicable; focusing on the overall guest satisfaction of all guests, including walk-in, bar, standing room and terrace guests, as well as table reservations and meal service guests. Daily shift oversight includes all Bartenders and Barbacks; as well as assisting with support to Servers, Bussers, Food Runners, and Hosts/Hostesses. This position has the opportunity to earn supplemental income thru the creation of custom beverages for private events.

Responsibilities for this position includes, but are not limited to, the following:

· Selection, training and development of bar staff to adhere to and enhance beverage menu and selections

· Ensure superior drink service, including mixing and serving drinks according to standardized recipes ensuring consistency and quality.

· Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiate improvements; build relationships with preferred guests

· Weekly inventory of beverages, ordering and maintaining par levels, menu generation and recipe creation

· Maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems

· Maintain daily operations by enforcing and ensuring compliance with policies and standard operating procedures; enforcing and guiding production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards; assist in determining and implementing system improvement

· Assist with restaurant financial objectives by adhering to annual forecasts and budgets; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; monitoring financial controls; assist with the development and implementation of strategies to increase average meal checks

· Assist with selection, training and development of all restaurant team members

· Assist in other restaurant and recreation outlets with day-to-day operational support and leadership as needed.

Qualifications:

+ Previous supervisor or management role at a high-volume restaurant with a robust beverage program

+ At least 3-5 years of experience at an upscale, high-volume Food & Beverage establishment

+ Must be able to work flexible hours including closing shifts, weekends and holidays.
