Description
Event Planner
Location: Candidates must live within 50 miles of an Elevance Health location. This is a hybrid role, 2-3 days a week onsite. Most events will take place in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Candidates must be willing to commit to traveling to Fayetteville, NC once a month for 2-3 days at a time – other travel may be required for additional conferences and events throughout the year.
Hours: Monday through Friday, standard business hours with occasional travel/events in the evenings and weekends.

Responsible for planning events for senior management, marketing, and sales. This associate will support the promotion of our care center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
How you will make an impact:
+ Meets with customers to identify parameters of events.
+ Recommends appropriate format.
+ Coordinates promotion of event to target audience.
+ Identifies and recruits presenters, speakers, and event volunteers.
+ Assists in the preparation of presentations when requested (includes developing, writing, editing, and reviewing presentations and serving as a desktop publishing expert).
+ Negotiates with vendors to make event arrangements (e.g., hotels, travel agency, special venues, restaurants, etc.).
+ Serves as the onsite host/hostess for client. Communicates event status.
+ Conducts follow-up to assess effectiveness of events.
+ Develops and tracks meeting budgets.
+ Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Marketing experience strongly preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $57,520.00 to $103,536.
