The Security Administrator contributes to the success of the company by executing tasks pertaining to operation of the security control and end user environment. This individual will apply their passion for security and technology to execute control operation, assist end users with use of security tools, and work with peer IT teams on security operation topics. Execution of tasks needed to operate the security control environment. Examples of this work include but are not limited to: – Proactive issuance and replacement of PKI certificates. – Reviewing control functionality for completeness across the security environment. – Level two troubleshooting authentication issues involving two factor or conditional access. – Manage the use of authentication/authorization protocols for applications (primarily Azure AD & AWS Cognito) – User management in select systems. – Review of security software versions and features with notification to support teams to upgrade as needed. – Creating and adhering to procedure documents. – 2-5 years technology experience. – Windows servers environments – Experience with Microsoft 365 preferred (Azure AD, Intune, Exchange Online, etc.) – 2 year college degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience. – Entry level security and technology experience preferred (Security +, SSCP, Microsoft, AWS, etc.) – Outstanding communication (verbal, written, visualization and listening) skills. – Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team setting. – Giving and receiving effective feedback across all interactions. – Ability to address conflict with peers and others in the organization. – Interest in understanding customer perspective to aid in development of the right solution. – Commitment to delivering quality solutions. – Ability to communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience. – Interest in understanding business needs to aid in developing solutions that are right for the broader organization.
