Description:
The team is looking for a strong DecSevOps Engineer who has a development and DevOps background to work closely with the developers and DevOps engineers to ensure a secure environment. This candidate must be passionate about their career growth and can illustrate what they have done to grow their knowledge. Essential Duties & Responsibilities – Validate proper development with the development team, python development and automation expertise (working with Key values, storing them, bracket lookup notations, and utilizing python dictionary) – Interests to direct application teams with onboarding the cloud security requirements; working with vendors to troubleshoot the platform and issues related to such integrations. – Strong coding and development expreience within an enterprise environment through python or bash and consider secrets management. – Design and integrate automated controls, such as SAST, SCA, etc. into an existing, customized SDLC. – Work across teams to enforce security controls consistently and reduce existing security debt. – Experience implementing security solutions within an environment – Leverage automated process to mitigate security vulnerabilities in the environment by working with the Application Security team to triage security vulnerabilities – Contribute to security requirements across cloud applications, provide guidance for cloud security and automation, and ensure that logical security controls are manageable and scalable. – Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices; conduct research, tests, and execute new techniques that can be reused and applied to SDLC. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities – Hands on experience developing, deploying and maintaining, automated tooling using Python, Go, or similar. – Mastery of automation tools (e.g., Concourse, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible etc.). GitHub Actions is a plus. – Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language to work effectively with all levels of end users and IT personnel. – Proven track records of building CI/CD pipelines for both application and infrastructure, focus on security would be a plus. – Comfort with automated, frequent, incremental code testing and deployment as part of a set of mature DevOps practices
