Job Description
The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time or part-time Count Team Member to join our team at GEM in Naperville, Illinois. As a Count Team Member, you will count and sort previous days’ soft money and gaming chips accurately and in a timely manner while following all policies and procedures.
Pay
$17.00 – $20.00 / hour

Responsibilities
+ Ensure that cash boxes are removed from carts, scanned and put through the MPS system.
+ Ensure that all monies are verified, proofed, strapped and bricked with the required information on the straps.
+ Ensure all logs and forms are completed daily.
+ Transport money carts to needed storage areas.
+ Report any poker box or table box problems to Lead Count.
+ Perform as a team member and assist fellow employees to ensure a smooth operation.
+ Follow all company, departmental, and state policies and procedures.
+ Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skill.
+ Greet guests appropriately, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner.
+ Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Ability to handle large amounts of money responsibly.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain the proper state gaming commission license is required.
+ Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
+ Role model the GuestPath Universal Service Standards.
+ No experience or diploma required
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds.
+ Manual dexterity to handle casino chips and paper bills.
+ Exposure to secondhand smoke.
+ Exposure to high volume of noise.
