Job Description

Construction equipment operator to lead pool construction projects. Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience operating various heavy equipment and project management skills to oversee the construction process from start to finish. 

Responsibilities will include; Operating heavy equipment such as excavators and track-type loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth. Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.

Overseeing the construction of swimming pools, setting pool walls, pool krete, basic plumbing, and installation of pool liners. 

Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently. Performing General Physical Activities — physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.

Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

 Scheduling Work and Activities — Scheduling project activities, as well as the work of others. Manage project timelines and budgets.

Communication with project stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications: Experience operating heavy equipment for a minimum of 10 years with various equipment. Strong project management skills. Knowledge of safety protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
