This role is with the Cognizant Integration and Process Management Practice within Enterprise Platform Services Team (IPM-EPS). Cognizant's IPM practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. IPM has strategic alliances with "best of bread" platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration.
Job Description: As a Lead/ Architect, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing, and implementing software solutions, and ensuring the quality and performance of the applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the overall development strategy. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior developers. While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Required Qualifications
*At least 7 years of strong experience in Middleware Development, Administration WebSphere DataPower XI50/52, XG 45 and API Connect.
*Must Have API / API Connect / DataPower Development skills:
oKnowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices
oExperience in designing and development of SOAP/REST based Web Services.
oMust be familiar with RESTful APIs and OAuth security considerations.
oStrong knowledge in IBM API Connect based API lifecycle management activities from design through implementation.
oKnowledgeable in creation of XSLT, XSD & WSDL
oUnderstanding of DataPower services like multi-protocol gateways, web service proxies, firewalls
oExperience in design and development of multiple services based on different standards for SOAP / REST, web services, data integration techniques, messaging, and transformation engines and non-standard services (APIs).
oFamiliarity with JSON to XML, XML to JSON, and JSON to SOAP transformations using XSLT's.
oFamiliarity with implementing SLM's policies for throttling
oFamiliarity in implementing OAuth2.0, SAML, and TLS 1.2 and mutual/2way SSL.
oExperienced in design message models and schema using JSON, XSD, SOAP, WSDL, Cobol Copybook etc.
oGood to have some knowledge on developing the different DataPower components such as WSP, MGP, Crpto, SSL profiles.
oUnderstanding of Enterprise Architecture Governance processes.
*Technical Lead Skills
oMust have worked in onsite / offshore model.
oGood communication skills, organized, multi-tasking, assertiveness are skills that will help being successful on this role.
oDrive solution development through requirements gathering, analysis, discovery, business plan creation, and solution level of effort estimates.
oCreate end-to-end integration solutions development for enterprise software or hosted high tech services.
oExperience with Agile Methodology including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desired.
oHealthcare or Insurance/Financial services industry knowledge is preferred, but not required.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,900 to $158,300 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
