UTE Azulao Combined Cycle Plant in Brazil.

Combined cycle project in Brazil that will start in May 2024. This will be a 3-year project. This project has been awarded. Will need (1) Civil Construction Specialist, (1) Mechanical Construction Specialist, (1) Electrical Construction Specialist, and (1) Commissioning Manger. Will be overseeing contractors. The Commissioning Manager will be providing oversight to all commissioning activities. Listed below are some project details: Project Details The scope of work for UTE Azulão Combined Cycle Plant refers to a 2×2×1 configuration, consisting mainly of 2 (two) new GT (Gas Turbine) model GE 7HA.02 or similar, 2 (two) new HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) directly coupled to the exhaust section of GTs, 2 (two) new Diverter Dampers, 1 (one) fully condensing new ST (Steam Turbine), 1 (one) mechanical draft cooling tower, and related BOP auxiliaries, with gross unit power of 1073 MW (per GE HMB). The expected gross efficiency for the UTE Azulão operating under the combined cycle configuration is 61.75%. The natural gas is supplied through a gas pipeline (# of pipelines to be confirmed) for exclusive use. The Azulão Power Plant shall be designed for a fully automatic start and shutdown process, safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance, complying with the conditions of the specifications, sound engineering practices, international codes emissions, and all applicable legislation. Represent client interests at site meetings with the Contractors. Plan and coordinate site status meetings with the contractors and necessary parties in the clients organization. Meetings will occur through daily coordination meetings by the contractor, weekly progress review meetings on-site, and monthly progress review meetings on-site.

+ Verify that contractor requests for progress payments are valid and substantiated by auditable documentation. An installed quantity review will be included in the invoice validation process.

+ Review and comment on contractor schedules. This may result in requesting recovery or improvement plans from the contractor or requesting clarification on schedule narratives from the contractor.

+ Monitor contractor schedule progress and changes, reporting variances. This review will include assessing the accuracy of the completed work scope, changes to critical path activities/float changes/duration changes, and reporting variances back to client.

-This is a man camp setup. Housing, meals and transportation will be provided. -They will work a 56 hour work week -Paid trips home home every 3 months.
