OGC Legal Practice IT Team is responsible for integrating data from several source systems at Ford into the OGC Due Diligence System – The SaaS solution provides a tool to allow Ford to assess the relative risk of bribery and corruption posed by any given third party to whom Ford has a relationship and document Ford’s due diligence review.

The Compliance Office is planning to conduct an anti-bribery risk assessment of dealers (and other relationships contained in GOLD-D). To conduct that risk assessment, we’d like to assess the amount of money exchanged between Ford and those entities. Data Extraction, Transformation, Data Cleansing, and Loading

What you’ll be able to do:

+ Product And Requirements Management: Participate in and/or lead the development of requirements, features, user stories, use cases, and test cases. Participate in stand-up operations meetings.

+ Author: Process and Design Documents

+ Design/Develop/Test/Deploy: Work with the Business Customer, Product Owner, Architects, Product Designer, Software Engineers, and Security Controls Champion on solution design, development, and deployment.

+ Operations: Generate Metrics, Perform User Access Authorization, Password Maintenance, and Build Deployment Pipelines.

+ Incident, Problem, And Change/Service Requests: Participate and/or lead incident, problem, change, and service request-related activities. Includes root cause analysis (RCA). Includes proactive problem management/defect prevention activities.

+ Work effectively with fellow software engineers, product owners, data champions, and other technical experts

+ Demonstrate technical knowledge and communication skills with the ability to advocate for well-designed solutions.

+ Develop exceptional analytical data products using streaming and batch ingestion patterns on the Google Cloud Platform with solid data reporting principles.

+ Be the Subject Matter Expert in Data Engineering with a focus on GCP native services and other well-integrated third-party technologies.

The minimum requirements we seek:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience

+ 6+ years of experience working with Big Query, Cloud Run, Cloud Function, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Build, etc.,

+ 6+ years of SQL development experience

+ 6+ years of analytics/data product development experience required

+ 4+ years of experience with Angular

+ 6+ years of experience working with Spring Boot

+ 8+ years of experience working with Java

+ 4+ years of experience with Cloud Native app development, GCP services, or VMWare TAS Platform

+ 4+ years of experience working with CI/CD (e.g., Tekton / Jenkins)

Our preferred qualifications:

+ Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience

+ Ability to work with Product Manager or Business customer to gather requirements and convert them into technical spec.

+ Active participation in all team ceremonies

+ Ensure appropriate use of Ford IT processes, tools, and methodologies within an application.

+ Ability to derive, define, and explicitly represent various artifacts and results.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills including leading problem-solving teams.

+ Self-starter: ability to work both independently and with a team.

+ Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across organizational boundaries.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Experience working in a Product Driven Agile Organization.
