Primary Function

Our team seeks a skilled and motivated front-end developer with a solid foundation and passion for web development technologies. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about learning, advancing their skills, and collaborating with our team to deliver outstanding web experiences for our clients. In this role, you will work closely with digital designers and UI/UX specialists to bring our campaign visions to life. The ability to adapt quickly and embrace new, unfamiliar technologies is essential for success in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

+ Managing deliverables to be timely and according to appropriate specifications and requirements

+ Comfortable using GSAP

+ Experience with uploading and managing banners in DoubleClick Studio

+ Familiarity with the nuances of banner development specs and requirements

+ Comfortable using Photoshop to export assets

+ Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies

+ Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement responsive, user-friendly web designs

+ Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

+ Debug and troubleshoot website issues, ensuring optimal site performance and functionality

+ Stay current with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices

+ Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes

+ Assist with the integration of third-party APIs and services

+ Test websites for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

+ Provide technical support and assistance to team members when needed

+ Manage deliverables

Skills & Qualifications

+ Solid understanding and experience using HTML, CSS (SASS), and JavaScript (ES6, ES7, ES8)

+ Familiarity with responsive web design principles and techniques

+ Reasonable understanding of server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Node.js, Python)

+ Experience using Node and NPM

+ Strong familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Grunt, Gulp, Webpack)

+ Strong knowledge of version control systems, such as Git

+ Comfortable working with various design software such as Photoshop, Figma, and/or Sketch

+ Strong experience in one or more of the following frameworks and platforms:

+ JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Angular)

+ Content management systems, especially WordPress, Drupal, and AEM

+ Veeva

+ Experience working with RESTful APIs

+ Although this is primarily a frontend position as that is most of the work, this candidate should still be comfortable interacting, configuring, debugging, and learning about backends, including but not limited to databases, CRMs, and hosting as needed

+ Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Education & Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

+ 5+ years of experience in production level web development
