Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to team up with us and create positive change in the lives of elementary students at a school in North Chicago. In this unique role, you will play crucial role in supporting around 40 students with SEL and behavior disabilities. Job Responsibilities:

+ Provide targeted support (whole group, small group, 1:1) to identified elementary school students.

+ Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success.

+ Advocate for students’ holistic welfare (social, emotional, academic).

+ Cross-functional collaboration with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs.

+ Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed

+ Facilitate IEP meetings

+ Develop and track interventions in order to understand IEP effectiveness.

+ Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work

+ LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois

+ Previous experience in a PreK-5 setting preferred
