Position Overview: We have a full time Speech-Language Pathologist opening with our school partners in South Holland. This role is for a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist who is interested in supporting the elementary population of students. The SLP will be responsible for providing push-in and pull-out services to a mild to moderate caseload of around 30 students, in three different buildings within the district. In this community focused school, you will find that the teaching staff, administration, and families work collaboratively to achieve student success. Responsibilities:

+ Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth

+ Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students

+ Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

+ Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs

+ Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans

+ Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

+ Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois

+ Previous experience in a K-12 setting (preferred)

+ English/Spanish Bilingual
