Part- Time Speech Language Pathologist

AnthroMed Education is looking to expand our community of Speech-Language Pathologists. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, in a part-time capacity, at an elementary school in Berwyn, Illinois. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting high caseloads and will be responsible for supporting around 20 students’ kindergarten through fifth grade. In this role, you will work collaboratively with educators, parents, a team of district SLP’s and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities:

+ Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for students in the school setting.

+ Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to each student’s needs and goals.

+ Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the diverse learning program.

+ Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs.

+ Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.

+ Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress updates and providing strategies for continued support at home.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

+ IDFPR License in the state of Illinois

+ Active Professional Educators License (PEL)
