DOT Compliance
This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Position Summary
Specialist will report to the DOT Compliance Manager and be responsible to meet critical daily, monthly, and annual DOT regulatory requirements. Specialist will lead special projects as directed. As part of a dedicated team, recommend process and work flow efficiencies and new technology advancements.
Position Description
+ Position requires a high level of organization skills, attention to detail
+ Assist new DOT driving candidates with the onboarding process. Position will work with internal and external resources to ensure documents are compliant and retained as provided in the Department of Transportation/ Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (DOT/FMCSA) regulations and ADM company policies.
+ Present in DOT driver Orientation to those in person, via Teams to remote locations.
+ Retain training documents
+ Manage online training program, manage adds and delete, documents from the field
+ Conduct DOT/FMCSA audits by location and fleet, develop presentation, present results to applicable audience. Managers, C- Level Suite.
+ Maintain database
+ McLeod, BI Pro, IBM, Onboard telematics, HireRight, Ten Street
Cross train or have a working knowledge of additional DOT compliance and risk management responsibilities.
+ Hours of Service, Controlled substance, Maintenance regulations
+ Monitoring existing DOT files
+ Coverage for compliance group colleagues
