Plasma Source is seeking a Blood Collection Specialist to be part of a dedicated team that provides plasma and transfusable platelets to local hospitals and patients wherever needed in the community. Schedule: rotates

  • Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 -5:30, Wed & Friday 7:00-3:30, Saturday 6:00-1:00
  • Tuesday & Thursday 9:30-6:00p, Wed & Fri 7:30-4:00p, Saturday 6:30-1:30
  • Tuesday &Thursday 11:00-7;30; Wed and Fri 9:00 -5:30, Saturday 8:30 -4:00

As a Blood Collection Specialist you will get to:

  • Greet blood donors and make them comfortable with the procedure, answering questions about the process as needed.
  • Perform apheresis collections of source plasma and transfusable platelets and plasma.
  • Performs all duties related to the collection, handling, and packing of blood products.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily production goals.



Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Six months previous work experience with apheresis machine (Alyx/Haemonetics) required.
  • Plasma Collection experience is required for this role.
