Job Description

Ecolab is looking for a Principal Business Analyst for SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team. Under the direction of management, this role will coordinate and perform SAP security assessment functions and activities in accordance with Internal Controls compliance, regulatory and departmental policy and procedures. This role will be involved in updating and maintaining SOD controls and providing recommendations for management's consideration. This person will ensure compliance with internal controls and SAP security policies and procedures. Work with the business and external firms to provide supportive documentation as applicable. The incumbent also must be well versed in SAP security design and concepts as well as GRC software and will be working closely with our Global SAP security team.

This position is based in St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL with a hybrid work schedule

What You Will Do:
Maintain and reassessment of GRC ruleset / GRC risks
Ensure Segregation of Duties controls are current and effective
Support SAP deployments for future EBS Deployments and ensure no unmitigated SOD conflicts enter the SAP system
Central point for SOD/User access questions to work in coordination with SAP Security and Audit
Develop consistent approach to External Auditors in relation to internal controls
Establish standards and procedures to minimize SOD conflicts
Ensure compliance to these standards
Decide on critical role assignments and changes requiring a ruleset modification
Coordinate with Internal Audit SOX and IT Teams on SAP Segregation of Duties Controls
Provide recommendations / concepts to Upper Management
Drive Efficiencies due to controls automation
Run sensitive access reports for Security
Perform project work as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of significant experience; or no degree and 12 years of significant combined education and equivalent work experience
3 years experience in SAP with strong understanding of SAP processes, modules, SAP GRC, compliance and related technologies
Experience with SOD and resolving conflicts
Experience with Audit (SOX)
Ability to manage projects, collaborating with various stakeholders, working within project timelines and budgets, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) in the range of 25% of the time as well as work remotely with stakeholders in various international markets
Experience with MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of recent work experience with SAP GRC
Deep understanding of SAP
Ability to develop relationships and collaborate with ETS, other functions and the business
Expert level of written and oral communication, with the ability to document technical issues and also present complex issues and ideas clearly
