Position Summary
The University of Illinois at Chicago (Department of Neurology) and the UI Hospital and Health Sciences System are undergoing a major Neurology expansion with a strong emphasis on building world-class clinical and multidisciplinary translational research programs.

Multiple faculty positions in general neurology and neurology sub-specialties. Sub- specialty positions currently available are in General Neurology, Movement Disorders, Memory Cognitive Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis, Neurocritical Care, Epilepsy and Vascular Neurology (rank/tenure will be commensurate with experience). Generous start-up resources can be made available for all positions to qualified applicants with research interests.

Duties & Responsibilities

Successful applicants are expected to establish and maintain vigorous clinical programs and/or externally funded research programs and participate in teaching.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and Rehabilitation required for all positions.
For Vascular position: Completion of an ACGME-approved fellowship and be board certified (or board eligible) in vascular neurology.

Candidates should have strong academic interest and expertise/interest in leadership, research, teaching, and/or clinical service endeavors.
