Job Description
Adecco Permanent Placement is seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician for our client. This person should be experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of verifiable electrical experience.
Proficiency in bending conduit.
Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
Ability to work independently, complete paperwork accurately, and fluency in English.
Willingness to adhere to established policies.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a current electrician’s license or identification card in compliance with government regulations.
Ensure all work is executed in accordance with relevant codes.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Fabricate parts according to specifications as required.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct issues.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as trench digging for conduit installation or lifting heavy objects.
Install conduit, pipes, or tubing in designated areas, pulling insulated wires or cables through to complete circuits.
Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand or power tools.
Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits using testing devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure safety and compatibility.
Utilize a variety of tools and equipment including power construction equipment, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems.
Provide management with advice on equipment safety and potential hazards.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $71,000.00 per year
