Description

Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.

The Compliance Consultant is responsible for delivering and executing foundational compliance responsibilities that support the team and management at the advanced level.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

+ At the advanced level, report, communicate, research laws at the advanced level, regulations, requirements, regulatory audits, and/or exams.

+ Provide advanced-level support to regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, on-site reviews, risk assessments.

+ At the advanced level, analyze and extract regulatory data, documentation for compliance with requirements.

+ Participate in compliance monitoring to identify process gaps, validate compliance levels, map processes, and draft corrective actions/remediation plans.

+ Conduct investigations, document findings, update stakeholders and leadership on developments, comply with notification requirements, and ensure corrective actions are made.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

+ Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Adaptable and willing to learn new processes and systems.

+ Comfortable analyzing data.

+ Skilled in the use of Excel including creating formulas and pivot tables is strongly preferred.

+ Enjoys working in a team environment.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $52,848- $105,696.
