Job Summary

TYLin is seeking a 2024 Summer Intern to join our Information Security team. This opportunity is a hybrid role that can be based in either Chicago or St. Louis.

During your internship you will work within our Information Security Team supporting functions in risk management, vulnerability management, incident response and awareness.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop business relationships with and earn the trust of customers and colleagues
Support the administration of the firmwide security awareness program and phishing simulation campaigns
Assist in the development of key security metrics to measure the effectiveness of our security controls and processes
Participate in the investigation of security-related incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and recommending corrective actions
Assist with vulnerability remediation
Handle routine operational duties related to information security
Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall security posture of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting technical issues.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
