Overview
*This role can be based out of either Plano, TX, Purchase, NY, Chicago, IL or Winston Salem, NC.  It is a hybrid role coming into the office 3 days a week*

The AP Issue Resolution Associate Manager is responsible for managing the business processes associated with vendor escalations, strategic vendors and Goods Receipts and Invoice Receipts (GRIR) for Frito-Lay US, PepsiCo Beverages Company, Quaker Foods, Sports and Fitness, and Corporate Horizontals divisions.

This position is part of the broader GBS Accounts Payables (AP) team that has accountability to ensure all suppliers are paid accurately and timely. The role responsibilities include leading the following AP process towers:
* Vendor Escalations Tower: includes managing the end-to-end vendor escalations and proactive vendor reconciliation processes. Responsibilities include investigating and driving accurate and timely resolution of vendor claims, manage proactive reconciliation process leveraging Vendor Risk Model, drive processes/tower performance monitoring ensuring operational and compliance goals are met.
* Strategic Vendors Tower: includes managing the end-to-end process for a predefined list of strategic vendors defined by PepsiCo Procurement. Responsibilities include leading governance process for strategic vendor, investigating and driving accurate and timely resolution of strategic vendor claims, ensuring consistent reconciliations of all strategic vendors, drive processes/tower performance monitoring ensuring operational and compliance goals are met.
* GRIR Tower: includes managing the end-to-end GRIR processes as part of the GBS Control AP services Responsibilities include leading GRIR governance processes, managing and monitoring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of GRIR resolution processes, drive processes/tower performance monitoring through various tools ensuring operational and compliance goals are met. 

The role is responsible for governance and oversight of the BPO provider, who performs the related services, ensuring appropriate performance monitoring and implementation of sustainable service delivery improvements to support GBS Control AP.

Reporting to this role is one Senior Analyst (L08), one Analyst (L07) and one Associate Analyst (L06) to support the above activities.

Responsibilities
* Lead Vendor Escalations and Proactive Vendor Reconciliation governance processes, ensuring consistent performance monitoring through various tools, focusing in achieving AP operational goals.
* Engage with key business partners (e.g., Supply Chain, Control, Finance, Sectors, Division) to drive support on Vendor Escalations, Strategic Vendors and GRIR issue resolution, strengthening network and communications and ensuring awareness on operational risks associated to unpaid goods and services.
* Partner with BPO provider to ensure alignment on goals and priorities, timely resolution of issues, and to understand challenges and proactively address them. Ensure BPO organization capacity and capabilities are adequate to run the AP issue resolution processes. Provide constructive feedback to the BPO organization to elevate performance.
* Monitor leading indicators and conduct period operational reviews with BPO provider to ensure agreed upon SLAs and operational metrics are met. Develop, modify, and implement relevant scorecard metrics to ensure compliance with policies and controls.
* Partner with BPO to implement continuous improvement initiatives, facilitating discussions with business partners to drive upstream changes. This role will interact and work closely with a business process outsourcing partner that is primarily located in Chennai, India.
* Manage a team of three direct reports establishing specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound objectives for the team ensuring alignment to GBS Control and business partners goals. Supports the team’s professional growth by providing valuable feedback, coaching, and leveraging formal development tools and processes.
* Support business partners with the implementation of strategic initiatives such new system implementations, test case prep and execution, UAT coordination and implementation support, and data cleansing and conversion

Compensation and Benefits:
* The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.
* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* 5+ years of relevant business experience and practical exposure in some of the following roles: management accounting & controls, financial audit experience, evaluating business performance, service relationship management, payables management, or other related large group processing experience.
* Possess a solid understanding of business practices, trends, and technologies, including SAP (S4 Hana preferred) experience, related to company’s purchasing and payable processes and policies.
* Previous experience with issue resolution and problem solving
* Attention to detail, learning agility, curiosity, and interest to gain deeper insights that provide value added. Adherence to processes, policies, and controls (Control Mindset).
* Strong excel skills; pivot tables, complex formulas, etc
* Capable of translating analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes. Ability to perform ad hoc analysis that led to problem solving and business improvement recommendations.
* Capable of building collaborative relationships to work effectively with other stakeholders. Taking on new and complex challenges with energy and enthusiasm, influencing and motivating others

Preferred Requirements:
* CPA and/or MBA preferred
