Your Role
Supply chain planning and fulfillment are critical capabilities to Baxter's mission of saving and sustaining lives. This critical role leads the IT Planning and Fulfillment team, driving the digital transformation, platforms and solutions required to ensure we meet our service level, inventory and cost objectives. This leader leads a global team, collaborates with supply chain executives worldwide and has responsibility for initiating and driving a $5M + project portfolio year on year.
This role reports to the VP, IT for Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and is a member of the IT ISC leadership team, providing direction and input on the digital supply chain strategy for the enterprise.

Lead a global team of IT professionals that are responsible for the technology strategy, delivery and support for enterprise planning and fulfillment.
Partner closely with senior leaders and experts in Integrated Supply Chain Enterprise and Segment planning and fulfillment to build and sustain relationships; and develop and align a technology strategy and delivery plan that supports the company and supply chain strategy
Influence the initiation and prioritization of projects that drive hard and soft value realization required to meet ISC and Segment objectives
Provide life cycle management, support models, cost management, license management and vendor engagement for technology related solutions and applications.
Provide program and project oversight to all digital and technical projects related to supply chain planning and fulfillment processes including order acquisition and management, demand planning, supply planning, sales and operations planning, warehousing, transportation, ecommerce, procurement, and global trade.
Work closely with IT peers in adjacent disciplines including manufacturing, procurement, quality, data / analytics to sustain and end to end integration approach
Provide teamwork, leadership and support for incident, problem and change tickets related to enterprise planning and fulfillment solutions as the need arises in order to meet service levels and system uptime requirements.
Yearly project planning and budgeting.
Establishes regular departmental meetings to promote communication and adequate information flow.
Performs other duties as requested.What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science, supply chain or equivalent experience.
15+ years of IT systems management experience, preferably within the medical device industry and related to planning or fulfillment.
Experience managing IT personnel.
Experience building relationships and partnering with senior supply chain leaders.
Experience leading Planning and/or Fulfillment Technology platform or solution teams for a global company or business unit
Experience successfully leading complex global technology implementations and supporting a suite of solutions used by global teams.
Deep knowledge and experience in supply chain planning and fulfillment work processes and the role advanced technology can play to transform results.
Experience in planning, warehouse, transportation optimization and automation technologies, solution providers, and solutions including implementation or solution ownership experience.
Familiarization with order acquisition and order management technologies, solution providers, and solutions. Implementation or solution ownership experience a plus.
Ability to lead personal projects while mentoring and managing subordinates.
Ability to lead time and prioritize work.
Ability to work with personnel from all levels and all regions / time zones.
Availability for off-hour calls and systems work.
