Position Summary
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the Illinois Eye and Ear (IEE) is seeking an OPEN RANK (CT) faculty to serve as a member of the Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus Service. The provider will also have clinical opportunity at our satellite clinic, 55th and Pulaski (FFP), as well as contractual agreements through our clinical and academic partners.

The Division of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus Service is a part of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, which is a comprehensive department characterized by breadth and depth of clinical and research expertise and productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities

The full-time, tenure track position will involve outpatient and inpatient clinical practice, resident and fellow education, and academic pursuits including clinical and/or basic research. There are opportunities for substantial research support and time.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include board eligibility or certification in ophthalmology, post-graduate fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus and eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois.
