PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for servicing trucks and assisting with propane maintenance. Will occasionally deliver petroleum products when drivers are out.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Delivers petroleum products according to customer requirements.

Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales.

Assist with installing and maintaining customer and company propane systems.

Assist with performing leak tests on customer systems as required.

Follows up on all customer complaints and seeks solutions in a timely manner.

Promotes the use of FS credit / Agri-Finance as a sales tool.

Submits required reports promptly as requested by supervisor and communicates activities in trade territory on a regular basis.

Maintains company vehicle, performs basic maintenance as needed.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

May be required to drive to run local errands as needed.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years or more of sales experience to demonstrate strong reasoning ability to solve practical problems and handle customer inquiries and concerns.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement.

Must maintain or have the ability to acquire and maintain an EMS (Energy Management Specialist) certification.

Achieve and maintain CETP certification and training as required.

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must be able to travel independently and overnight.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered "normal."

Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions.

Working conditions may occasionally include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
