Salary Range: $21.50 - $26.00 Hourly

Group O is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The Desktop Support Technician is the initial point of contact for corporate IT users to obtain technical support. They install, assess, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade end-user computers as well as multifunction, printers, scan guns, and projectors. They are responsible for the installation and configuration of desktop operating systems and business applications using SCCM and other tools.

Primary Tasks:

  • Respond to assigned service requests in a timely, professional manner
  • Being courteous and helpful in finding a solution for end users
  • Manage and document activities in a ticketing system
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory in CMDB
  • Setup end user hardware, operating systems, and business applications
  • Troubleshoot Windows-based PC/Laptop devices as well as a very small number of Mac laptops
  • Troubleshoot multifunction print/copy/scan printers as well as desktop printers, scan guns and projectors
  • Must be able to lift up to 50+ Lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.



  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10 and 11
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service skills


  • General IT knowledge in the areas outlined in Primary Tasks
  • At least 2-5 years of technical experience OR relevant technical certification OR Technical degree

  • 5 years experience in a Service Desk role
  • HP Printer experience
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • CompTIA Network+ certification
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
