Job Description
Delivery Lead for IT Soft USA, Inc. DBA: ENG USA in Chicago, IL to manage a team of employees within the SAP Asset Management & Mobility practice, including hiring, coaching, assigning resources to projects, negotiating salaries, managing the team’s performance, developing career paths, and managing external vendors/contractors. Manage the team across all ongoing and upcoming customer engagements and ensure resource availability and prevent over-utilization of resources. Oversee the practice budget and revenue goals/forecasting for the NA territory by ensuring financial control of each project, tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing billing and invoicing in collaboration
with the internal PMO and finance teams. Regularly report the status and financials of the practice to upper-level management. Define and implement the growth strategy for the SAP Asset Management & Mobility practice, including identifying and nurturing partnerships, managing the service/product portfolio, and targeting specific markets and industries. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, as well as expand new and existing relationships with key client stakeholders. Serve as the main point of contact for the clients within the project delivery and act as a strategic advisor to help clients develop long-term IT roadmaps. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a continuously growing pipeline of leads and project opportunities. Lead the end-to-end pre-sales process for the SAP Asset Management
& Mobility practice in North America. This includes initiating first calls with new prospects, introducing them to the company and practice service & solution portfolio, analyzing the customers current situation and key challenges, proposing viable solution options, identifying the resource requirements, project duration and cost. Closely collaborate with Sales leads to drive new opportunities to closure and initiate the project realization. Oversee all customer projects within the practice to ensure that deliverables meet client requirements and maintain high-quality standards. Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Define and control project delivery plans, guide the implementation teams as a subject matter expert, support end-user trainings, testing, go-live, and hyper-care phases of the projects. Collaborate closely with key customers and internal stakeholders. Identify areas for process improvement within the practice and implements best practices to enhance operational efficiency within the project delivery. This includes the evaluation and implementation of tools and methodologies that are used internally and within customer projects to ensure efficient workflows. Collaborate with other practice leads to identify synergies, adapt & share best practices, defining
integrated use cases across practice boundaries and driving collaboration on the expansion of the business into existing customer accounts from other domains. Demonstrate and share deep technical knowledge and expertise in SAP asset management and mobility with the team. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, executives, project teams, and other relevant parties. Provide regular project updates, status reports, and performance metrics. Plan and organize training sessions, workshops, or knowledge transfer sessions to enhance the skills and competencies of the project team members. Requires: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a closely related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience as a Delivery Lead (or closely related occupation) performing SAP asset management and mobility or, alternatively, No degree and six (6) years of experience as a Delivery Lead (or closely related occupation) performing SAP asset management and mobility. Specific skills/other requirements - Must possess one year experience in: Designing, implementing, and configurating SAP ERP solutions both on ECC and S/4HANA, including backend modules (SAP PM/CS, SAP QM, SAP MM/IM/WM, SAP PS, SAP IS-U, SAP SD, and SAP ATTP), cloud (SAP BTP), mobile solutions (SAP Fiori, SAP Service and Asset Manager, and 3rd party mobile technologies, such as Neptune) and non-SAP system integrations (such as external DMS systems); Performing project management, such as Software Development Lifecycle, SCRUM, Waterfall, Resource Management, Jira, MS Project, Portfolio Management, RACI matrix, Release Schedules, Risk Mitigation/Management, and RAID logs; Applying sensor integration, machine learning, and IoT driven business scenarios; Performing people management; and Adhering to statutory compliance regulations within GXP regulated industries, such as the Pharmaceutical industry and medical device industry.
