Wieland is hiring a Quality Process Analyst. The Quality Process Analyst will be responsible for understanding recycling material consumption and desired usage for optimization. You will also work closely with procurement team to ensure safety and quality expectations. This role is located in East Alton, IL and will be fully on-site. While this role is local, occasional travel to other locations will be required (20% travel). 

 


Responsibilities

 

Quality Process Analyst Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for incoming third party recycled material quality control into East Alton Foundry
Assume leadership in developing a road map for quality, performance and audit management including external suppliers
Provide audits and corrective actions associated with safety and quality issues
Engage with functional/business unit stakeholders and other subject matter experts to ensure transparency, consistency and support
Leverage current supply base and Identify improvement opportunities to support the organization's business goals, initiatives, etc.
Support procurement team in ad-hoc issue management both internally and externally
Identify, evaluate, the approval process of new suppliers that meet wieland's performance standards and compliance requirements
Understand East Alton recycled material consumption and desired usage for optimization
Work closely with Procurement team to ensure safety and quality expectations from 3rd party suppliers meet wieland's requirements
Drive supplier audit process, highly oriented on safety for mill direct products
Manage corrective action process, work with Metal Control and Procurement and establish long term solutions to potential ongoing issues
Coordinate qualification process for new suppliers and or products
Quality Process Analyst Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business or technical-related discipline required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred
1-5 years of quality or process engineering experience
Highly skilled in internal stakeholder collaboration, influencing and change management
Ability to travel at least 20%
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, SAP S4, SAP R3, SAP Ariba and related systems
Great written and oral communication skills
Financial Modeling/Analysis expertise
Supplier analysis
Contract management skills
Supplier relationship management
