Job Description
Background: Loyola University Chicago is seeking a Lecturer to teach introductory and upper-level courses in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) including Introduction to GIS, Advanced GIS, Remote Sensing; teach sophomore-level Environmental Statistics course; develop new courses in GIS and spatial statistics as the technology advances; contribute to new GIS Laboratory; provide students and faculty researchers with fixed-schedule tutoring sessions; contribute to the GIS Certificate program and mentoring students in GIS projects within the GIS Laboratory; develop and engage in research projects during the summer months and apply for grant funding.
