Job Summary

Supports the maintenance and advancement of the existing SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD) solutions for Morton Salt Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing department.  The IT Analyst and Architect will provide the day-to-day configuration and process support for Sales and Marketing solutions. This position will work closely with other IT Analysts and Architects and business users to understand and document business requirements.  The business requirements must be translated into technical requirements that can be used as a guide to develop SAP SD solutions.  The IT Analyst and Architect should also have hands on ABAP debugging/development experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • SAP application design, configuration, development, integration, testing, deployment and support for the current SAP ECC environment and the future S/4HANA environment.
  • Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations to the business.
  • Implement newly improved SD, Customer Experience (CX) and cross-functional business processes based on business requirements.
  • Support the current SAP ERP ECC Environment and prepare for a transformation to S/4HANA
  • Deep experience with SAP SD business processes, Order to Cash (OTC), Master Data, Pricing, Rebates, etc.
  • Experiences with SAP Trade Promotion Management is a plus.
  • Experience with integration points between Finance & Controlling (FICO), Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM) and manufacturing and consumer products business processes in ECC 6.0 environment.
  • Provide training and support to end users on SAP SD functionalities, best practices, and business processes.
  • Experience with designing custom solutions and interfaces between SAP & Non-SAP systems.
  • Experience on integration to SAP and related products, such as Vertex, Customer Cloud, Commerce, etc. is a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as needed up to 25%. Additional travel possible depending on location and projects.
