Job Description

Oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and/or development processes. Build and manage a group of QA engineers, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring team members.

Work closely with Engineering & Product Management teams to ensure alignment of objectives, test coverage and timelines. Develop, implements, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery. Identify and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products. Assist QA environment team for quality and availability of QA test environment for each product. Communicate quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff. Coordinates product testing processes.          Participate in product testing. Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues. Review client, customer, and user feedback. Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related engineering degree and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate quality assurance experience.

Must possess 5 years of experience with:

-Experience software testing and quality assurance of web-based applications using manual and automation testing

- Experience in writing automated scripts, designing Test procedures, Manual Test cases, Test Plan
