Manager, Service Delivery - International

About the Position
The Manager, Service Delivery - International is will serve as the lead in facilitating the identification, definition, and delivery of IT infrastructure and IT business services for existing and new business lines and locations. In this highly visible role, you will lead a cross functional team consisting of business stakeholders and IT staff (IT Infrastructure, Service Desk, Information Security, and IT Business Administration) using a mix of traditional project management disciplines and Agile, Scrum-based practices. You will be responsible for assisting in owning, guiding technology relationships and day to day operations supporting a dynamic and growing organization. You will ensure adherence to contractual obligations, conform to IT governance standards, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans. This role requires understanding the end-to-end technology service catalog, standard IT Service Management frameworks, and IT operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their skills to become a trusted partner, consultant and technology generalist for the internal business units we support. The individual will actively contribute to the success of the overall IT Service Delivery program and provide tactical/operational direction and demand management to enable alignment of business needs with IT capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Aligning the IT priorities with the business plans and acting as an advisor to the business stakeholders for IT related topics
  • Manage the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of IT Service Delivery needs
  • Provide strong, proactive and assertive leadership for IT Service Delivery needs
  • Provide delivery management oversight for IT Operations and support teams responsible for a wide array of IT technologies and functions
  • Define, implement improvements and meet SLAs
  • Builds and maintains strong business stakeholder relationships and participates in business owner meetings regarding performance to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding overall and day-to-day service delivery
  • Acting as an escalation point for the business stakeholders in case of IT service issues
  • Regularly collecting feedback on satisfaction with key IT services
  • Communication and alignment with business stakeholders on IT compliance and governance activities
  • Responsible for the oversight of the technical components of the Managed Service relationship with application vendors
  • Lead the preparation, obtain agreement and manage the IT budgets within the area of responsibility, in collaboration with IT Business Management, Operations, and Business Solutions
  • Oversee the creation of deliverables including architecture and technical design
  • Ensures that implementations and ongoing services are delivered on time and meet business requirements by maintaining tight control over the project schedule, risks, the scope of work and budget
  • Ensures that operational teams and subcontractors maintain a clear understanding of the business needs and provides day-to-day advice and support
  • Develop and drive a strategic vision and continuous improvement roadmap that optimizes architecture and system performance consistent with the strategy of the business
  • Assist IT leadership with developing long-term technology roadmap, resource plans, and budgets
  • Drives the simplification and standardization of shared IT services and applications
  • Ensure proper implementation of global standards, policies and systems platforms
  • Promotes the IT organization's capabilities and works to strengthen the business value of the IT organization
  • Establish and provide high-quality, informative written and verbal project communications, including status, dashboards and Service Delivery project updates
  • Provide leadership and guidance including coaching, mentoring and evaluation with the end goal being optimum performance levels
  • Onboard, coach and develop the team, creating a culture of innovation, collaboration and continual improvement
  • Complete performance appraisals, take corrective action when appropriate, and participate in hiring decisions

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in information security, computer science, business, or related field
  • 5+ years' overall IT experience with significant experience in global, enterprise corporate IT
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to interface with executives and stakeholders regarding issues of project scope and status
  • Ability to facilitate productive meetings and drive outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete projects with minimal direction
  • Experience with IT vendor relationship management and oversight is a plus
  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills
  • Knowledgeable of IT project management, tracking, reporting, and risk/issue mitigation
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills with a results-oriented mindset
  • International travel up to 25%

Preferred
  • Preferred 2+ years' experience with energy generation, distributed control systems, or similar industries
  • Preferred bilingual English and Spanish OR English and Portuguese

Salary Range

$110,266.50 - $139,125
