Estimated annual base pay: $55,000(minimum) - $68,800(midpoint) - $82,600(maximum)

The Government Contract Buyer/Planner (level 1) creates, reviews and maintains valid plans of material and manages the supply base in order to meet customer demand.
What you will be doing...
Plans, schedules, and manages orders
Directs supplier actions to mitigate delays
Negotiates long-term pricing agreements
Quotes deliveries for sales requests
Maintains communication channels with supply chain
Monitors and maintains inventory levels
Ensures government compliance
Selects and awards purchase orders
Performs price analysis for procurements
Manages suppliers and resolves material issues
What we are looking for...
4-year degree or equivalent experience required
Previous buying, material planning and/or production planning experience in a Government Contract environment, if no degree
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR and EAR or possess all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State Department and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
