Job Description
Olin Winchester, LLC ("Winchester"), considered one of the world's leading ammunition manufacturers,is seeking a Primer Centerfire Charger Trainee - Hourly.This position will be located at the East Alton, IL facility. The starting wage for a Primer Centerfire Charger Trainee is $26.19/hour. Essential Functions*:
Prepares, measures, and mixes primer ingredients.
Charges approximately 500 to 2000 plates per shift.
Responsible for putting primer mix into tub and onto table.
Knead mix into charge plate and transfer cup plates in/out of foiler.
Safety Sensitive Position.
Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.
Position Requirements*:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 25 lbsfrequently throughout the shift.
Must be able to work rotating weekly shifts (midnights, afternoons, days), weekends, and forced overtime.
Ability to work in weather elements and exposure to extreme temperatures.
Individual must have an excellent work history and safety record, be detail-oriented, have good vision (color recognition required), and be dexter.
This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
