Position Highlights:
Position: Patient Support Assistant
Location: Skokie Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm

What you will need:
License: N/A
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Certification: N/A
Experience: Minimum 1 year customer service experience is required. Work experience in healthcare setting preferred.
Skills: Minimum 25-30 wpm typing proficiency.

What you will do:
Facilitate all communication regarding the day-to-day activities in the Ambulatory Surgery Area
Schedule same day and next day surgeries
Greet incoming staff, physicians, and vendors
Support maintenance of regulatory standards regarding restricted area
Compile performance improvement data
Assist Perioperative team with ad hoc projects
