Position:Emergency Medical Services Coordinator
Location:Primarily location: Evanston Hospital required floating to -HPH &GB
Full Time:Days, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

What you will need:
License:Registered Nurse
Education:Bachelor'sDegree
Certification:Registered Nurse
Experience:3 years or more experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing.
Skills:ECRN, CPR, ACLS, BTLS, IDPH EMS Lead Instructor License (must attain within first year of employment).Strong knowledge base in IDPH EMS Rules and Regulations. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Teaching experienced preferred. Ability to deal with several strong issues simultaneously.

What you will do:
Position to assist with operation of state designated EMS System.
Plan and implement educational programs for all levels of pre-hospital personnel.
Represent NorthShore University HealthSystem and the EMS System in various regional committees.
Maintain educational and field equipment and perform other duties as needed.
Assist with preparation of statistics and Quality Improvement studies.
Utilize a wide variety of software programs in performing educational tasks.
Emergency Preparedness Program participation for the hospital, corporation and region.
