Overview
Expected pay for this position is $52.66 - $69.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director has responsibility for coordination of services and activities that impact inpatient care areas within the organization.
Along with the other members of the Director's Council, provides management leadership and development across the organization.
Serves as the nursing representative and/or leader of many multidisciplinary teams and work groups within the organization and at a Ministry level.
Leads activities in patient classification/ acuity, information systems projects, recruitment and retention, regulatory compliance, and other appropriate activities.
Participates on teams relative to staffing and scheduling, Magnet Recognition, and service line activities.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelors
Licenses/Certifications:
RN-Registered Nurse
Professional Nursing Certification (must be obtained within 1 year of hire).
Experience:
3 years management experience within an acute care setting.
Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
