Job Description
Maintains systems (reference to “systems” includes S/4 HANA and CRM) applications and operations at a level that is acceptable to the user community and develops improvements in functionality in collaboration with all levels of the user community, including but not limited to Yaskawa Management, Power Users, and other members of the Systems Development and Support Group; Carries out the identified systems’ enhancement projects, such as stabilizing and enhancing the production clients and addressing ongoing future issues; Participates in the identification, prioritization, and implementation of company’s business process reengineering activities in order to gain the maximum efficiencies available through the systems, consistent with a sound change management strategy; Defines the scope and requirements of new developments, carries out detailed system design, writes specifications, configures SAP, documents the configuration, tests new developments, and plans and implements the cut-over to new processes; tests on system changes by creating schedules, developing test plans, coordinating user testing, and verifying results; Continually educates themselves, other Systems Development & Support Group members, Power Users, and the user community in system functionality to a level where Yaskawa can be reasonably self-sufficient in future system supports and projects; Supports users as the system is employed day-to-day and provide consulting on functionality and configuration; Works with users and other team members to solve application and operational problems in a timely and efficient manner; and Produces and maintains easily understood system documentation and assists Power Users in the preparation and maintenance of user documentation.
