Position Highlights:
Position:Registered Nurse, PACU CVI
Location:PACU CVI, Glenbrook Hospital
Full Time/Part Time:Part-time 24hrs
Hours:M-F Rotating Shifts; 8/10/12hr shifts available; evening, weekend, and holiday calls
Required Travel:may float to other sites during low volume days
What you will need:
*License:Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
*Education:Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Specialty certification preferred
*Certification:BLS/CPR certification required
*Experience:Minimum of 3+ years experience in specialty area preferred with evidence of progressive leadership
*Skills:N/A
What you will do:
*Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
*Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
*Would assume direct patient care if necessary
*Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
*Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
*Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
*Takes lead on clinical performance management
