Hospital Operator, Per Diem

Position Highlights:
Position: Hospital Operator - Per Diem
Location: Glenbrook, IL/Highland Park, IL
Per Diem (as needed)
Hours: 10:30am-7:00pm, 1:00pm-9:30pm, or 4:30pm-1:00am(weekdays)

Required Travel: Glenbrook Hospital/Highland Park Hospital

What you will do:

Professionally answer and process incoming telephone calls timely and accurately
Respond and accurately process emergency notification requests including overhead announcements, pager notifications and escalation
Documentation of daily activities in shift reports

What you will need:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Six months' experience as a telephone operator on a multi-function switchboard is preferred
Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience in a hospital or health care related setting preferred
