Warehouse Direct is looking for a passionate, highly organized and sales-oriented Coffee and Breakroom Account Manager who can help drive sales within the category. This individual will be well-connected, and recognized by customers as an expert in their field, as well as achieving exceptional results.
  • Excellent Pay - Compensation includes base salary depending on experience, plus commission.
  • Flexible Work Environment: Enjoy a hybrid position, with flexibility to work remote or stationed at our office in Des Plaines

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing accounts through the entire sales cycle:
    • Responsible for calling on new and existing accounts
    • Generates and processes new sales leads
    • Utilize effective sales techniques and strategies to successfully close deals
    • Assist with coffee equipment and breakroom supplies selection
    • Hosts coffee tastings, demonstrations and meetings with potential customers
    • Professionally respond to customer requests and help plan projects from start to finish (estimates, budgets, schedules) regularly.
  • Attend sales development meetings
  • Provide regular ongoing client account check-ins
  • Traveling to meet potential leads and structure meetings for potential partnership
  • Ability to create a smart business strategy to win customers
  • Develop and implement category strategies:
    • Analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities within the category
  • Help drive sales and profitability
    • Assist with all PR and Marketing platforms that drives awareness within the category
  • Stay current on industry trends and market dynamics:
    • Regularly research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences
    • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to stay informed and build relationships
  • Cooperatively coordinate with internal teams and vendors to implement projects
  • Cooperatively performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Past sales experience required
  • Previous experience working in an office environment
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills

Skills and Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools and virtual meeting platforms
