Senior Manager, Actuarial Life Services (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chicago, IL. Provide general insurance advice and consulting services to clients such as insurers, banks, regulators, and third-party administrators. Provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modelling, underwriting, new legislation, and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes. Analyze the impact that new regulation will have on an insurance company’s balance sheet. Help insurers address new financial reporting requirements. Establish and maintain client relationships. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 6 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

• Assessing the financial and business impacts of regulations, building implementation plans, and implementing relevant requirements;
• Conducting analysis of actuarial and quantitative modeling;
• Worked on various regulatory regimes in US including PBR and/or Pre PBR; and
• Utilizing any one or more of the following spreadsheets, database, and other actuarial software-related technologies: GGY AXIS, SAS, R, MAPS, Python, VBA or SQL programming languages.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 40% required.
