Scrum Master Lead

Job Description

Champion the adaptation of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework in day-to-day practices and cultivate an environment of continuous learning. Spearhead the organization and execution of scrum ceremonies, orchestrate scrum events, and ensure active participation and engagement. Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospective workshops. Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles and manage scope, timelines, quality benchmarks, and deliverables. Align project goals with overarching business objectives (QBR) and drive outcomes. Support product owners and other key stakeholders to foster transparent communication and productive collaboration. Monitor and report on test coverage and quality metrics. Track and communicate progress towards objectives via a suite of Agile metrics to enable informed decision-making and timely adjustments. Drive iterative cycles of inspection and adaptation underpinned by data-driven insights. Collaborate with Agile coaches to identify and deliver targeted training sessions to bolster Agile proficiency. Provide feedback to enhance Agile maturity within the Center of Excellence (CoE). Identify opportunities for sustained enhancement, continuous improvement, and share best practices. Work with large-scale software and web development; data driven projects; Agile coaching and SDLC skills in implementation of business applications; Agile productivity tools, including Jira, JQL, Dashboards, Confluence, and Custom Charts; requirements gathering using interviewing, requirements workshops, prototyping, brainstorming, document analysis, joint requirement planning sessions (JRP), joint application design sessions (JAD) and risk, gap, and impact analysis; React; TypeScript; collaborating with UI/UX designers for integration of designs; web services, including XML, WSDL, HTML, Ajax, SOA, API, and web architecture; API integration, GraphQL and API testing using Swagger; TDD (Test-Driven Development), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD); application design using the SOLID model; UML modeling, BPMN, Sequence and Activity diagrams, and data flow diagrams (DFD) using MS VISIO; Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) development tools; INVEST and SMART to write user stories and sprint goals; and Agile estimation using the Fibonacci sequence.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study, plus two (2) years of experience with large-scale software and web development; data driven projects; Agile coaching and SDLC skills in implementation of business applications; Agile productivity tools, including Jira, JQL, Dashboards, Confluence, and Custom Charts; requirements gathering using interviewing, requirements workshops, prototyping, brainstorming, document analysis, joint requirement planning sessions (JRP), joint application design sessions (JAD) and risk, gap, and impact analysis; React; TypeScript; collaborating with UI/UX designers for integration of designs; web services, including XML, WSDL, HTML, Ajax, SOA, API, and web architecture; API integration, GraphQL and API testing using Swagger; TDD (Test-Driven Development), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD); application design using the SOLID model; UML modeling, BPMN, Sequence and Activity diagrams, and data flow diagrams (DFD) using MS VISIO; Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) development tools; INVEST and SMART to write user stories and sprint goals; and Agile estimation using the Fibonacci sequence. Alternatively, the employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study, plus five (5) of experience with large-scale software and web development; data driven projects; Agile coaching and SDLC skills in implementation of business applications; Agile productivity tools, including Jira, JQL, Dashboards, Confluence, and Custom Charts; requirements gathering using interviewing, requirements workshops, prototyping, brainstorming, document analysis, joint requirement planning sessions (JRP), joint application design sessions (JAD) and risk, gap, and impact analysis; React; TypeScript; collaborating with UI/UX designers for integration of designs; web services, including XML, WSDL, HTML, Ajax, SOA, API, and web architecture; API integration, GraphQL and API testing using Swagger; TDD (Test-Driven Development), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD); application design using the SOLID model; UML modeling, BPMN, Sequence and Activity diagrams, and data flow diagrams (DFD) using MS VISIO; Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) development tools; INVEST and SMART to write user stories and sprint goals; and Agile estimation using the Fibonacci sequence. Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master I Certification and International Scrum Institute Scrum Master Accredited Certification are required.
