Robert Half has a Desktop Support Technician role with a company in the detail-oriented Services industry that may be the position for you, if that’s you. We especially want to hear from motivated candidates with effective problem-solving abilities. This Desktop Support Analyst role is short-term contract / temporary in nature and is based in the Chicago, Illinois, area.
Responsibilities:
- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions
- Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
