Position Summary A Java Developer with CVS Health is a hands-on position that will concentrate on modifying and building functionality to existing and new applications using Java technology stack. As an individual contributor & a team player, you will help the team to effectively deliver the projects on-time and with quality. To be successful you will need to have a firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies. This position is a work from home flexible, meaning it may require going to the office 1-3 times a week for projects and meetings. You will need to live a commutable distance to the office in either Buffalo Grove, IL or Dallas, TX. You also must be able to provide effective 24×7 production support as needed. Required Qualifications 5+ years with Java development experience. 3+ years with one or more these technologies: Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC, Angular, JPA, REST APIs, MySQL. 1+ year of experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration, CI/CD, TDD (GitHub, Jenkins) Preferred Qualifications Cloud development experience in Azure Certification in Azure Experience in PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 – $201,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
