Job responsibilities include:

+ Business Development (25%) – Selling Oracle Life Sciences Products and Services

+ Actively collaborate with Client Partner Team to target new and existing client contacts and uncover potential sales and custom consulting opportunities at key pharmaceutical / biotech clients

+ Engage onsite or remotely with clients to ascertain their specific needs

+ Advise clients on options for custom approaches and solutions aligned with client’s business needs

+ Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to capture new engagements and extend existing engagements

+ Serve as a client liaison for other products and services offered by Oracle Life Sciences

+ Project Execution (40%) – Implementing the Appropriate Approach to Address Client Needs

+ Collect and analyze proprietary and other secondary data and monitor market trends.

+ Conduct primary qualitative research with a variety of key stakeholders.

+ Integrate data and research into a cohesive story that addresses client needs and provides actionable insights

+ Responsible for on-time, on-budget client deliverables

+ Establish excellent working relationships with client engagement teams to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence

+ Project Management (25%) – Leading Projects or Participating on Project Teams

+ Manage multiple engagements, balancing client expectations, workload, and timelines.

+ Ensure successful design, implementation, tracking and revision of project plans and timelines for assigned engagements.

+ Responsible for on time, on-budget provision of client deliverables for assigned engagements.

+ Ensure appropriate and timely communication on engagement-related matters with the internal project team.

+ Work collaboratively with and empower the internal project team

+ Administration (10%) – Timesheets, Expense Reports, Participation in other Activities

+ Complete Timesheets and Expense Reports in timely manner

+ Complete periodic training on company policies and procedures

+ Plan travel, as appropriate for Business Development and Billable Client Meetings

+ Attend periodic internal business meetings, as requested

+ Stay current on email communications

Responsibilities

The successful candidates must meet these requirements:

+ Advanced degree in Life Sciences (biochemistry, pharmacology, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology or similar); PhD or MD preferred

+ 4-7 years life sciences consulting or commercial pharmaceutical / biotech experience

+ An understanding of the oncology and/or specialty therapeutics market a plus

+ Strong primary market research skills -qualitative design and moderation

+ Excellent organization and problem solving skills

+ Successful business development and/or sales experience

+ Ability to participate in and facilitate client and project team meetings to communicate and explain analysis results

+ Capable of developing cross-functional relationships within an organization

+ Fully proficient in software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

+ Basic understanding of market research methodology employed in the pharmaceutical industry, advanced understanding is a plus

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

+ Consistent demonstration of maturity and diplomacy in the work environment

+ Strong business acumen

+ Willingness to collaborate internally with colleagues and externally with clients.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $70,600 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
