We're currently looking for an Associate Human Resources Business Partner to be the next member of our awesome Talent Team and help us continue to grow, improve, and elevate the organization.
While reporting to the VP Human Resources, you will provide guidance to managers and leaders on best practices to maximize employee engagement and productivity, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You'll understand the business and act as a proactive consultant providing hands-on and strategic program management and support for a variety of Human Resources initiatives. You'll make a meaningful impact by utilizing your HR knowledge and experience to assess business objectives and lead the delivery of effective solutions including performance management, employee relations, talent and organizational effectiveness administration, and policy administration. Primary business areas that you will support include the Branches, Contact Center, and Sales.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Provide coaching and consultation to managers and leaders on a variety of topics. Through this consultation, you'll help build people manager acumen and accountability.
Consult on performance management issues with management, balancing multiple perspectives and factors resulting in solutions that best serve the organization's objectives.
Support the development and implementation of talent management initiatives and programs, including performance management, employee development, management development, and career development/succession planning for assigned business group(s).
Advise managers on how to resolve employee relations issues. You'll conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations while adhering to corporate, HR and legal policies. You'll take this a step further and identify opportunities to reduce employee relation issues for assigned business groups.
Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop policies, programs, and solutions. You'll support annual HR deliverables including the performance review cycle; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; employee handbook review, talent review process, and more.
Reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining in-depth knowledge of employment law related to day-to-day management of employees. Your keen HR skills will help you identify issues or significant risk that require collaborating with legal counsel for guidance.
Act as a change agent in supporting HR and business initiatives. You'll support change and readiness plans, including creating communications that enable the successful launch of programs or processes. Your success in this area will lead to best practices and a positive impact on our culture.
Leverage data and metrics to evaluate and analyze trends, patterns, and issues to develop and influence recommendations, solutions, program/policy design. You'll discuss recommendations and solutions with management and HR to proactively improve the work environment.
A successful person in this role will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications or Related
4+ Years' Experience in a HR Business Partner, Human Resources Generalist, Employee Relations, Performance Management, or related position
Self-starter who easily adapts to change and helps to bring others along during times of transition
Well-developed relationship building and relationship management skills
