Duties: Design
multi-phased cloud data strategies, including crafting multi-phased
implementation roadmaps. Design and develop scalable data ingestion frameworks
to transform variety of datasets. Implement Data lakes in Cloud
(Snowflake/Azure SQL/AWS/GCP). Serve as a subject matter expert in a cloud
platform and contribute back to community. Gather technical requirements,
assess client capabilities and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud
solution recommendations and adoption strategy. Research, analyze, recommend
and select technical approaches for solving complex development and integration
problems. Design and deploy end to end solutions with a cloud platform’s
analytic services. Lead the creation of technology roadmaps based on gathered
and prioritized business needs. Conduct and lead while-boarding sessions,
workshops, and project meetings in support of data- enabled solutions. Design
& develop data models in support of BV/Analytics solutions. Implement a
variety of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, & boost practices (e
g.Incremental, SCD, Star Schema, etc.). Utilize Data modeling, data migration
and knowledge on RDBMS concepts. Utilize experience with Databases: Microsoft
SQL Server, TSQL; Languages: Python, Pyspark, Spark
SQL,.Net, HTML, JAVA, Perl; Cloud:
Azure SQL, Data Lake in Cloud, Synapse, Databricks, Datafactory;
Reporting Tools: SSRS, Power BI; Design and Architecture Tools: Design
Enterprise Database Systems, Data Modeling, Data Migration; Version Control
Tools: GIT, DevOps; ETL Tools: SSIS, Informatica; Services and Support Tools:
Service Now; Project Management: Plan, direct, and coordinate project
activities.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor-s degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Business or related field and 5 years of experience in
the job offered or Database Architecture-related occupation. Alternatively,
employer will accept a Master-s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Business or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or Database
Architecture-related occupation.
Experience must include one year
of experience with each of the following skills:
1. Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL
2. Languages: Python, Pyspark, Spark SQL, .Net, HTML, JAVA, Perl
3. Cloud: Azure SQL, Data Lake in Cloud, Synapse, Databricks,Datafactory
4. Reporting Tools: SSRS, Power BI
5. Design and Architecture Tools: DesignEnterprise Database Systems, Data Modeling, Data Migration
6. Version Control Tools: GIT, DevOps
